During my two years at BYG I have developed UI skills which have helped bring our courses to life. Using minimal text to draw attention to important information and interactive elements to stop the learner fatigue, I have learnt simple but effective techniques which can be developed for many different clients and brands.

How can we talk about our feelings? This animation explores the ways we can begin to open up about our feelings to those around us. Rhiannon and the instructional designer worked together closely on the script and designs to ensure it felt natural and communicated the skills every day people can use to help influence their conversations.

This animation was created as a reflective piece to help people consider their own work-life balance. The idea was designed to reflect life, using a bike metaphor symbolising the chaotic busy roads, the uphill battle and the calm straight paths. This style was created to be whimsical and beautiful to allow the user to reflect and calm their emotions.

Health and safety
The brief:
To build a series of health and safety modules, ranging from COSHH training and fire warden safety to Risk assessments and Manual handling. These modules were built for Netex's off-the-shelf catalog, and needed to feel modern and easy to digest. Each course featured a bespoke storyline element, ranging from timed games, self assessments and videos.
Several interactive blocks were utilised to engage the learner and build on the knowledge learned.
